Business Developement Manager
Our client is an architecturally-led International Engineering Consultancy with offices throughout Asia and the world who are looking for a Business Development Manager to assist with the development of business opportunities in Indonesia. Having been established for just over a year in Jakarta, our client is a leading regional player in the Built Environment Sector with a large portfolio of buildings either completed or under construction in the hospitality, high-rise, educational, and healthcare markets. As such, the Business Development Manager is required to continue the successes of the entity by pursuing and winning new contracts in Jakarta and Indonesia in general. The successful applicant will be a degree qualified individual who has an engineering background, fluency in Bahasa and English, and a track record of winning new work for similar companies. The responsibilities will include but not be limited to: – o Developing new business and negotiating commercial contracts with existing and potential new clients, ensuring that commercial levels are maintained at an optimum standard to continuously sustain the workflow and cash requirements of the organisation.
o Directly responsible for the achievement of individual business development targets, contributing towards the achievement of the team based target and achievement of key performance indicators each year.
o Follow all Business Development practices and procedures including but not limited to ensuring the CRM is properly updated and contracts are properly titled and indexed; the template commercial contract is adhered to; the commercial contract risk matrix is properly followed.
o Responsible to work with relevant technical Directors pricing, tendering, proposal development, scheduling and other negotiations regarding project sales and development.
This role is requires a client-facing individual who is accustomed to frequent business travel and reporting to senior management. A commensurate salary is on offer for the successful applicant as well as the opportunity to grow within a large international organisation.
